Common Ground brings together artists and makers from across Birmingham and the Black Country for a group exhibition at Zellig, Digbeth.
Born from an open call, the exhibition creates space for a broad mix of practices, perspectives and creative voices, with work spanning painting, photography, textiles, sculpture, film and more.
There is no single theme connecting the work. Instead, Common Ground is about creating space for artists to show up as they are, share what they make, and bring different practices into conversation with one another.
Join us at Zellig for Digbeth First Friday on Friday 4 September to explore the exhibition, discover the work of local artists and makers, and spend some time together.
Common Ground runs from 29 August – 5 September 2026.
