Woven Tongue – Exhibition Opening

6-8pm

Eastside Projects

A selection of four artworks displayed in vertical strips. There is a red overlay. The works are by the artists represented in woven tongue, and include a painting of light skinned brown person wearing a black felt welsh hat. Abstract motifs taken from a prayer mat. Blue, white and green flower motifs and a veiled figure. There are two circles cut out - which show one of Yas' eyes and tongue.

Join us for the opening of Woven Tongue, a brand new exhibition, curated by Yas Lime in the second gallery of Eastside Projects.

The colourful and timely show will feature work by Alia Ali, Aqsa Qureshi, Seren Morgan Jones and Sevven Kucuk, as well as a selection of woven straw sculptures made by Yas.

This will also be a chance to view LOOP in the main gallery.

No booking necessary, however to maintain access for all, there will be a restricted capacity within the gallery and we are encouraging all staff, volunteers and our visitors to maintain social-distancing. For up-to-date information about visiting Eastside Projects, please visit our website.
