Vivid Projects: Hostile Environment, 7pm–9pm
Unit 16 Minerva Works
122 Fazeley Street
Birmingham
B5 5RS

Vivid Projects presents ‘Hostile Environment’, a screening of archive films made for the 1980s West Midlands Anti-Deportation Campaign. The films focus on the veteran Birmingham campaigner Muhammad Idrish and introduce some of the key themes in our forthcoming exhibition of new artist films exploring workers rights, campaigning and legislation.

Visitors are invited to meet staff working on the archive project, and add their experiences and thoughts on the history and ethos of workers’ activism, and what ‘work’ means for them.

This event is free!
