TIRESOME/TIRELESS

7-8pm

Lost Property Gallery

White text reads tiresome/tireless, overlaid on a red image of hands holding a string of bus tickets. Each bus ticket has writing on. The most legible reads "But to the very sick is simply absurd theatrics".

Lost Property Gallery presents TIRESOME/TIRELESS, an exhibition by Ila Colley.

Nestled in a wallet that will be lost somewhere in Digbeth next month, Colley weaves an intimate portrait of a mother and daughter navigating domestic, political, and wage labour, by way of bus tickets and business cards.

See the exhibition at Pan-Pan from 7pm. Come to hear some poetry and chat about the art. Follow IG @lostproperty.art for up-to-date timings. The exhibition will remain at Pan-Pan for the month of July, before it enters the urban fabric in August.

Lost Property Gallery is an art gallery in a wallet. Every six months we ‘lose’ the gallery somewhere – on a street, in a shop, on the train, anywhere. Get lost with us at lostpropertygallery.wordpress.com.
