Everyone is invited to join us as we celebrate the launch of two new exhibitions Perfection is a Lie (An Ode to your Potential) by Alice Theobald and […] The Library is All of These with work by Motunrayo Akinola, Japhet Dinganga, and Jessie Tam.
Perfection is a Lie (An Ode to your Potential) is an experimental documentary film directed, edited and musically scored by Alice Theobald during her time as an Incidental Artist at Eastside Projects where she had been building on her research and ideas around authenticity, and exploring how we understand the gap between professional and amateur, success and failure.
[…] The Library is All of These, curated by Lucy Grubb, started with a Library; a starting point around public spaces, thinking between Central Library in Coventry and Eastside Projects as surfaces for collective memory, re-imagination, rehearsing.
Expect immersive installations, video, sculpture and drawings. C’mon in, grab a drink and a samosa see what you think.
