Nela Milic | Exploring Memory, Conflict, and Community

Centrala is hosting Nela Milic’s residency, the final in the 2024 Hybrid Landscape project. The event features two installations—Text Illumination and Wrappery —offering a rare opportunity to explore the intersection of conflict, memory, and identity.
Using light and text, the installation prompts reflection on reconciliation and the rebuilding of trust. Alongside this, Wrappery—a continuation of Milic’s work at the Croatia Pavilion at the Venice Biennale—tackles the challenge of preserving fleeting memories through various formats and materials.
