Friday 7 April, Post-Paradise 7–9pm, Degenerates Social, Centrala, 9pm–2am

4 Minerva Works
158 Fazeley Street
B5 5RT

This Digebth First Friday, Centrala are hosting a collaboration between two exciting homegrown projects; Flatpack Film Festival and Post-Paradise.
Post-Paradise, 7–9pm
Post-Paradise is the group formed by Conservatoire alumni deep in the bowels of Paradise Circus while it was being ripped from the ground and pummelled into nothingness. Satirically named, they’ve curated a monthly concert series of experimental music and art. Each month composers and artists from near and far come to perform in the heart of Digbeth to showcase the kind of creations you’d be hard-pressed to find anywhere else.

In a special Post-Paradise collaboration with Flatpack Film Festival, artists will perform around the space, exploring its sonic tones and textures from 7-9pm, and will be accompanied by home-grown visuals from Birmingham-based artist Duncan Poulton.

Degenerates Social, 9pm-2am

Degenerates Social is a night of queerish music for queerer people. It offers a welcoming space for deviants, freaks, forsaken children, lost souls, and all the other ‘others’ that find themselves on the margins of nightlife. Come find us dancing to oddly soulful tunes with your DJs LMGM, Pip Longsocks and Kim McAleese.
