JERWOOD ENCOUNTERS: 3-PHASE

Join us on Digbeth First Friday for the public preview of ‘This Time of Day can be Dangerous’, the second of two Jerwood Encounters 3-Phase exhibitions. Grace’s practice examines modes and limits of immersion and perception via the distinction between still and moving image. Existing somewhere in between these categories or sometimes in neither one, her videos become a framework for thinking about the structuring of information and experience, visual sensation and interference, the idea of the event, and the action of editing.
‘Birmingham Show’and the Black Pleasure bar will also be open along with exhibitions, performances and events hosted by our Digbeth First Friday partners.
