During September’s Digbeth First Friday Giant Axe Field take over the gallery to perform a live and improvised audio visual reworking drawing on Jindřich Polák’s pioneering 1963 film Ikarie XB 1. Bass, guitar and drums trigger film clips, creating an immersive audio-visual excursion into Deep Space Rock. Giant Axe Field is an experimental music project by Sean O’Keeffe and Simon Bailey.
