This event is the culmination of a 12 week intensive research period between BA/MA students within BCU’s School of Architecture. The primary aim has been to work with artist Kaye Winwood to create ideas for an ‘Expanded Dining’ space in which to explore new directions for food and sensory research practices. This showcase with present some of Kaye’s work alongside the students’ to reflect the thought processes and context for the research.

Co.LAB Project provides and exciting opportunity for undergraduate and postgraduate students from across different disciplines to work on a project with external collaborators.

Kaye Winwood is an artist and researcher. In 2016 she applied the term ‘Expanded Dining’ to reflect a ‘beyond the plate’ approach to dining experiences. Using the medium of food, her research is largely concerned with the enabling of pleasure.
