Stryx invites Digbeth First Friday goers to an informal open studios event, showcasing the most recent artistic developments of SOUP artists in residence; Johnny Gordon, Megan de Greef, Chuma Martin, Raquel Macartney, Duncan Poulton and Gavin Rogers.

The SOUP residency programme awards emerging artists in the West Midlands the opportunity to work for eight weeks in the culturally thriving heart of Birmingham, Digbeth.

The residency offers artists time and space to develop projects, as well as having the opportunity to integrate themselves into the local artistic community. The residency is intended for emerging artists who will benefit by creating work amongst other artists of varying disciplines and specialisms, but incorporates some form of digital, media or live performance.
