Everything Must Go

Friction Arts

Birmingham Wholesale Market

73-75 Pershore Street

Birmingham

Join us for a once in a lifetime chance to celebrate the closure of our historic Wholesale Markets and to herald some of the biggest changes to our city for decades. Through performance, choreography, music, photography, sculpture and film, we will take you on a 900-year journey through the lives of the birthplace of the city.

Everything Must Go is the culmination of a two-year project to document and respond to the history and closure of the Wholesale Markets. Featuring artwork by Dan Burwood, Glenn Anderson, Colourburst, Prime Objective, Georgia Chapman, Nita Newman, Friction Arts and many more, Everything Must Go promises to be an event that will remain in your memory long after Everything Has Gone.

Wholesale Memory and Everything Must Go are supported by Heritage Lottery Fund, Arts Council England and Birmingham City Council.
