While the country is in lockdown, charities are still working with Birmingham’s most at-risk groups. We are suggesting Birmingham based charities you can support. The money spent on beer, cranberry juice, or lemonade during a Digbeth First Friday event can go towards their ongoing work.
Cooperation Birmingham are running a Solidarity Kitchen – a food support service that takes food directly to people. They are daily distributing hot, hearty, healthy food from the kitchens of the Warehouse Cafe, a workers cooperative which has been closed by the coronavirus crisis. Food is prepared by our professional chefs, who are trained in commercial food hygiene standards.
