While the country is in lockdown, charities are still working with Birmingham’s most at-risk groups. We are suggesting charities that need support. The money spent on beer, cranberry juice, or lemonade during a Digbeth First Friday event can go towards their ongoing work.
The Matt Kendall Foundation provides hardship grants to the most vulnerable young people in Birmingham. Donations support recipients to buy essential items such as food. The money will be used to bridge the gap for those whose employment status has been affected by the virus, as well as those who are waiting for benefits but have an urgent financial need.
